    Shop handmade artisan keycaps with Pokemon, Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Gundam, Doraemon and Hello Kitty designs, plus dragons, animals, football clubs and Plants vs Zombies characters. Each keycap is sculpted, painted and cast by hand in transparent resin, so every piece is slightly different.

    Most designs use a tall SA profile and fit Cherry MX and most MX-style switches such as Gateron and Kailh. Spacebar and Esc sizes are available in selected designs.

    Handmade artisan keycaps for mechanical keyboards

    An artisan keycap is a single, hand-crafted key that replaces a plain one on your mechanical keyboard, usually Esc or an accent key. Ours are sculpted, painted and cast by hand in transparent resin, so a tiny scene or character seems to float inside the key. No two are exactly alike.

    Will they fit your keyboard?

    Most of our artisan keycaps are 1U with a tall SA profile and a cross-shaped stem that fits Cherry MX switches and most MX-style switches such as Gateron and Kailh. They are not designed for low-profile switches (for example Kailh Choc) or Topre boards. Selected designs are also available as spacebars in several lengths, Esc-plus-spacebar combos or small sets; the available sizes are listed on each product page.

    To install one, pull the old keycap straight up with a keycap puller and press the artisan keycap straight down onto the switch stem. Because each keycap is handmade, small differences in color and detail are normal. If yours arrives damaged, send us a photo and we replace it free of charge.

    Artisan keycap FAQ

    Can I type on an artisan keycap?

    Yes. The SA profile is tall and sculpted, so most people put artisans on Esc or keys they press less often.

    Are these resin keycaps durable?

    The resin is fully cured and hard. Treat them like any decorative keycap: avoid dropping them and clean with a soft, dry cloth.

    Can I order a custom design?

    Some Pokemon designs, such as the custom Pokemon spacebar, let you choose the size. For other ideas, email support@luxdesin.com.

    Are these official licensed keycaps?

    No. They are fan-made, handmade pieces, not affiliated with or endorsed by the original rights holders.
